is a student at The University of Memphis, majoring in Theater with an emphasis in Dance, and minoring in Vocal Performance with an emphasis in Opera. She has trained in dance for sixteen years, studying under Matthew Lovegood, Judy Leppek, Patrick Roddy, Jacque Robinson, Lane Alexander, and Bril Barrett. She has studied voice for five years under Katie O’Rear, Karina Brazas, Sharen North Jones, and Joel Johnston. Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Emily worked as an assistant teacher and choreographed for a tap competition team. She also danced with American Midwest Ballet in the second company for three years, and performed in Omaha’s The Wizard of Oz as a featured dancer and tap dance captain. Prior to attending college, Emily danced with Motion 41. Emily has traveled to Chicago, Washington, D.C, St. Louis, and New York City for tap festivals, in addition to training at Broadway Theatre Project in Tampa, Florida.
