is a current student at the University of Memphis. She’s majoring in Vocal Performance. Outside of school, she teaches dance at CK Dance Theatre in Mississippi and is a member of the Southern Open Rhythm Collective. She has been training in dance for 17 years and voice for six years. A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Emily danced with Motion 41. That is where she started teacher assisting and choreographing for the tap competition team. As a connection through the studio, Emily danced with American Midwest Ballet in the second company for three years. In 2018-19, Emily was an intern for the American Midwest Ballet and a Young Artist in Resonance. In the Omaha community, she performed in The Wizard of Oz as a featured dancer and tap dance captain. Throughout the years she has traveled to many big cities like Chicago, D.C, St. Louis, and NY for tap festivals. Emily has also trained at the Broadway Theatre Project in Tampa.
